Scott Carter, CE

Principal/President

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno and has been with the firm since 2011. While at Fresno State, Scott worked as a draftsman at a local structural engineering firm, and after graduating, he worked as an entry-level engineer.

The projects Scott is involved with are commercial, medical, and educational.  Over the years at Brooks Ransom Associates, Scott has become a go-to source for all DSA projects. These projects require attention to detail and accuracy, as well as goal-based project management. Scott is also known for being cheerful and easygoing, often setting up potlucks and other office social events. As president, Scott oversees employees, manages projects, and answers client’s requests.

Scott was born in Madera and attended Liberty High School. Scott and his wife, Macae, live in Fresno. They have two beautiful children, Lacie and Colt. When the Carters are not running around town, they enjoy family trips to Shaver Lake and the central coast.
